please read this leaflet very carefully. It contains important information which you should be aware of concerning the use of this medicinal product. If you have any questions, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Composition:

Indications:
Traditionally used to support the excretory function of the kidneys. This information is entirely based on reports and historical experience. Call a doctor if there is blood in the urine, fever or if symptoms persist for more than 5 days or if there is acute ischuria (urine retention).
Contraindications:
Asparagus-P® should not be taken if there is kidney inflammation.
NB: no irrigation therapy should be carried out if there is oedema as a result of reduced heart or kidney function. Asparagus-P® should not be used in the first trimester of pregnancy without consulting a doctor.
Special precautions:
No special precautions need to be taken when using the product.
Interactions with other substances:
None known.
Dosage form, method and duration of administration:
The instructions below should be followed if no other instructions for use have been given. Please keep to the instructions otherwise Asparagus-P® cannot work properly.
Adults and children over 12 years: 4 film tablets 3 times a day. The quantity can be reduced to 2 film tablets 3 times a day if required. For best results, Asparagus-P® should be taken before meals with 1-2 glasses of water. It is important to ensure sufficient liquid is taken simultaneously.
Dosage errors and exceeded dosage:
If used according to the instructions, symptoms of overdose are not likely to occur. If too little is taken by accident, the correct amount of Asparagus-P® should be taken at the next dose. Please consult your doctor before stopping treatment.
Side effects:
Skin or mucus membrane reactions may be possible in exceptional cases. Light-skinned persons in particular may have phototoxic reactions. If this side effect occurs, treatment should be stopped and a doctor consulted. If, while taking Asparagus-P®, any side effects should occur which are not mentioned in this patient leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Expiry information:
The expiry date of this article is printed on the blister pack and on the carton. Do not use the product after this date!!

Do not store at temperatures over 20°C.
